High potential and gifted education

Some students learn faster and more easily than others. These students may shine in creativity, thinking, leadership or sport.

At Oxley Vale Public School we proudly follow the NSW Department of Education’s High Potential and Gifted Education (HPGE) policy, which values the diverse abilities and needs of gifted and high potential students. Our commitment is to create an inclusive, stimulating learning environment where every student is challenged and supported to excel across all domains—intellectual, creative, physical, and social-emotional. Through evidence-based teaching practices, enrichment programs, and personalised learning opportunities, we strive to nurture each learner’s unique strengths. By embracing a holistic approach to giftedness, we prepare our students not only for academic success but also for lifelong growth, wellbeing, and meaningful contribution to their communities.
